My tutoring style comes for many years of working with students at all levels. The first part of my lesson is to teach proper breathing. Most adults and young students simply do not know how to breathe properly. I use a number of teaching techniques including praise for good honest work, excellent outside resources which can come from the internet or from books that I find in the educational stores and libraries. All students need individualized attention, but it is also important to have team building skills inherent in the coursework so they learn to both help themselves and others.
