A Little Bit About Me...

While I was in high school, I took honors courses and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I tutored an 8th grade-9th grade boy in TCAPS preparation and helped him complete homework in Math (pre-algebra, algebra, and pre-geometry), Science (biology), and English. I tutored him for two years. After I graduated high school I was accepted to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I am currently in the spring semester of my sophomore year. I will be returning to Johnson City this summer and am available to tutor. I babysit two young boys currently, one of whom is 5 and I help him with kindergarten homework,such as learning words and reading. I am capable of helping with all ages. My comments on tutoring World History : I have a history Minor attached to my undergraduate degree. I specialize in Russian History, American History, and European History.

I love sharing my knowledge with others, whether it's in a group or one-on-one. I make sure that my pupils can easily comprehend what is going on during the lesson. Questions are a good indicator that active comprehension is taking place, and I am there to make sure that any and all questions that are to be had will be answered. I'm not one to "spoon-feed" per se, but if specialized attention is needed on a specific topic or subject, I am there to help with any and all questions that may arise during the process.
