My teaching style is very hands on and adaptive. Accounting is one of those subjects that is difficult for most students, so I adapt my style to each student. My past students have been at the bachelor’s, masters, and the professional level. I feel what sets me apart from other tutors is my real world experience. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe everyone will respond well to individualized instruction when the tutor studies the student's learning style and offers the information in the form best suited to each learner. I am patient and encouraging with students. I work hard to find ways to present a subject so that each learner will find it interesting.
I am the author of five historical novels and a number of articles, poems and short stories. I occasionally do short “residences” teaching Language Arts and Drama to special needs students in k-12 schools for VSA Arts of Florida. My graduate studies emphasized American and Tudor/Stuart History. My doctorate included a Criminal Justice minor. I regularly teach writing and grant writing seminars to adults, usually through libraries on weekends or in the evening.
