In order to be an effective teacher one must possess the ability to create an engaging, positive classroom that not only focuses on the major subjects but incorporate the arts as well. I feel that children learn in various different ways and incorporating different methods of effective instruction students will gain the knowledge they need to succeed. I will use new and innovative ways to instruct each and every child in the classroom. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in good classroom management and organized lesson plans. I set appropriate boundaries and expect the students to follow the rules that are set before them. That being said I try to make the learning as fun as possible but organized. I also try to bring in anything that they are interested in to make them enjoy the subject they are learning. If I can find an example in life they can relate to that will help them learn something I will find it and bring it in. I love working with children and really love math.
Although I have been self employed for the last 6 years, I went back to school last year to add Science and Math for middle school to my certification.
