My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : 4 years experience teaching Shakespeare in the classroom to grades 9-12, general through AP students.

I am an experience English, Language Arts, Writing teacher of nine years! I spent five of those years teaching middle school, grades 6-8, and another four years teaching high school level, grades 9-12. Both age groups allowed me the opportunity to teach all levels and work with different learning styles.
As a teacher, you learn to adapt you teaching style to fit the student; therefore, a tutoring position would allow me to use the teaching style that fits best with the individual with whom I am currently working.

I have wanted to help others learn for as long as I can remember; even as early as the fourth grade I was helping my classmates with assignments. I have always loved learning and helping others to learn. I earned a BS in Psychology in college so I would have a better understanding of how the mind works and learns. I never turned a person down; if I did not know much about a subject I would research it. I even took a course that would teach me how to assist individuals with essays and research papers. Since working with the disabled folks I have learned patience is a virtue. I also learned that each person is very unique and learns in different ways. I will meet your child's individual needs and try to show them a subject matter from a different point of view.
