My first teaching experience took place at Camp Powhatan, a summer camp for Boy Scouts, where I was an instructor for two summers. My ability comes from experience...I was not entirely prepared for college when I started, and had to work much harder to successfully complete my degrees. I have always felt that tutoring should offer a much more laid-back approach at getting concepts across to students.
