I have always loved learning, and as a result, I also pursued a minor in Chemistry, for the sheer love of science. Immediately after college, I spent the summer teaching riding lessons at a camp in Colorado. A Little Bit About Me...

For 9 of my 31 years in education, I was a classroom teacher. For 22 of those years, I was a reading teacher and instructional resource teacher. These positions required me to test students who were new to the district, do turnkey workshops for the faculty of the school in which I worked and also plan and devise curriculum suggestions with the administration of the school district.
