A Little Bit About Me...

I believe one must be very creative when teaching children because not all children learn the same way and accel at the same rate. I love working with children of all ages. I am organized, patient, and understanding. I realize that in order for a student to grasp a concept they must have the right environment and teaching approach suited for them, and I am willing to be flexible with these ideas.
During college I had written many psychology research papers and solved an abundance of challenging math problems. I have worked at Mosaic in Axtell, NE for three years. Here I have educated clients on daily living tasks; and provided assistance with daily cares and activities. I train them to be as independent as possible. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always had an interest in math, science, and social studies along with a desire to help people. Therefore I decided to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. I have 5 years of experience working within a classroom as a Para-educator. My last internship was within a middle school social studies classroom, I had classroom sizes of 31 students. My first fulltime teaching experience was within a middle school math and social studies classroom, I had classroom sizes of 18 students. In the summer of 2009 I began working on my Master degree in Instructional Technology.
