During college, I changed my major several times, taking numerous classes for each one to determine what I wanted to do with my life. I experimented with Political Science for two years, in which I took classes in criminology, speech, and history. My next year of college was spent in English and Writing, where I focused on the obvious, as well as classes in psychology. The last few years of my college experience, where I ended up graduating with a Bachelor’s in Finance, were based around all of the science and math classes that Ohio Dominican University had to offer. I believe that all children are unique and gifted in some way. I truly prefer to work with them one-on-one. Each child learns in a manner that is a challege to meet and I welcome this challenge and often find that I learn as much from them as they might from me. A Little Bit About Me...

I have extensive preparation and training that will allow me to succeed as an English tutor. I am a licensed substitute teacher in the state of Indiana. I have been actively teaching with Noblesville Schools (Noblesville, IN) since October of 2006. I have gained additional teaching experience as a Bible study teacher of two years. As such I lecture for about an hour and a half most Sunday afternoons. Additionally, I spent three years as a shift manager in food service where I was responsible for training new employees. I always received positive feedback from my trainees. I have specific expertise in the area of English and language arts.
