A Little Bit About Me...

For four years I taught in private schools, where I gave instruction at the middle and high school levels in English, French, Hebrew, computer programming, and office applications (spreadsheets, etc). I taught Math and English for one year at a Huntingdon Learning Center (elementary through high school students). Prior to this I taught French and Linguistics courses at the State University of NY at Albany where I earned a degree in each of those fields. Later I became a database administrator. Today I develop web applications in the C# programming language and the Transact SQL query language. I have also given private music lessons over the years to a total of 20 to 30 students. I enjoy finding out a student’s area of difficulty and address it directly. Students have different learning styles, it easy for me teach in a variety of styles so that to make sure my students understands. I do also apply almost everything I teach to real world situations, for example most young students may think that learning about triangles will not benefit his/her career in business. As his/her teacher I will show the student how one can use triangles to determine where to built a manufacturing company equidistant (meaning the distant between each raw material supply place to the manufacturing place is the same) to three raw material supply areas, which are not in the same place.
