I Have been a teacher since 2002. I have had various experience in teaching students diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, OCD, PDD, ODD, as well as other learning, social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. I have also had experience tutoring students from grades one to ten. I have had to plan and implement individual education plans as well as independent lessons for various students. I have worked with children from all types of schools including inner city and charter schools.

My teaching style assesses in the student's learning ability to set the pace. Before beginning the next a review of the previous lesson is in order to be sure the prior lesson has been grasped. Each encounter with the students is an assessment for me as well as for the student of me. Positive reinforcement is a good way to keep students on point.
