Since graduating from my undergraduate program in 2007, I have had a passion for teaching and learning. My first teaching experience was working in Camden, New Jersey. I served as an intern art teacher for at-risk first through third graders in an after school/summer school program. Shortly thereafter I started my Master's program, where I integrated my passion for teaching into my capstone project. I was given the opportunity to teach at-risk fifth through eighth graders basic life and business skills, which included everything from how to calculate simple interest to how to apply for college. More About This Tutor...

While I was in High School I tutored Elementary students in reading, spelling, science and social studies in all grades. I also tutored high school students in English and math to pass school entry exams. I had a 100% passing rate! During my University career I tutored students in Micro and Macro Economics, all maths, Spanish and Machine Dynamics and Control. I've also received training on how to use different tools to tutor students that understand at different levels. I never give up on students and always try to use different tools to help them understand. I like seeing them encouraged and feel like they can do anything they set their mind to!
