I taught 4th grade for 5 years in the Rock Hill School District from 1991-1996. After I completed my Master's degree, I worked for 3 years as an Elementary Guidance counselor. I enjoyed both experiences and missed the field once I was out of it. In 1999, my husband took a job in California and I did not continue teaching. I have had a variety of work experiences since then but still have the ability and desire to help children learn.
