Calculus II is one of my top subjects! I completed AP Calculus BC in high school and received a score of 5 on the AP Examination for that subject.

I try to work with students to find connections between different aspects of the material that we're working on as well as to find connections to other subjects. I find that by relating specific topics to broader perspectives on a subject as well as related subjects, the student can gain a greater appreciation for the coherence and importance of a particular subject area.
I have experience working with students who are advanced and seeking supplementary tutoring as well as with students who are having difficulty with a subject. I received my Bachelor's degree in Education, Math Grades 8-12 at Baylor University. Through Baylor’s program I tutored Fall ‘03, Spring ‘04, and Summer ‘04. During the ‘04-‘05 school year, I was a Teaching Associate in a local school. I observed, tutored, co-taught, and taught one period of Geometry that year. For the ‘05-‘06 school year, I worked as an Intern in a local school. I taught, tutored, and co-taught all levels of geometry, Algebra 2 Honors, and Pre-Calculus.
