I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education. During the past 4 years and working in the early childhood education industry I realized that many teachers were not getting the proper training that they needed to receive to help the children that they are serving. I am a one on one person when I teach or tutor. I homeschooled my son for one year before sending him to public school and found that to be quite rewarding. When I tutor a student, I like getting to know the student, their experiences and how their perceptions of topics that they will have to write about in the college arena.
