I teach my students reading comprehension every semester, but showing them how to dissect words, and how languages are constructed. By understanding the origins of words, my students develop reading comprehension. I am a fan of the Socratic method of teaching, where students are led to an understanding of the material through a series of questions designed to help them think their own way to the answer.
