My comments on tutoring Government : I can help students with topics in the areas of both contemporary and historical government.

I have experience working with students who are advanced and seeking supplementary tutoring as well as with students who are having difficulty with a subject. I have tutored mathematics as well as chemistry, biology, physics, and other subjects. I have tutored students from a range of ages and I worked with my first student over four years ago while I was in college.
I try to work with students to find connections between different aspects of the material that we're working on as well as to find connections to other subjects. I find that by relating specific topics to broader perspectives on a subject as well as related subjects, the student can gain a greater appreciation for the coherence and importance of a particular subject area.

I enjoy working with students of all ages. I strive to encourage students to develop a love for learning and the ability to learn independently. Each person has a different learning style so I like to allow students to take an active role in designing the method in which they will best learn the material.
