I am very aware that everyone learns at different levels and in different ways. I am observant and mindful of this in teaching. I have worked with children with special needs for many years. Also, teaching ESL has helped me become a strong teacher because it has made me excellent with non verbal communication. It is important to have a stimulating environment for students. I want my students to want to come to my classroom and become involved in the lessons. I believe in balance. I think it is important to have fun but also be productive. I then completed my Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Valdosta State University. At Valdosta State University, I completed courses such Microbiology, Molecular Genetics of DNA, Animal Physiology, Protein Biochemistry, and Statistics.
