Holding a Master’s Degree in Literacy across the Content Areas, I truly believe that that every human being should have the right and opportunity to be able to read. In my years as a writer of curriculum and as an academic trainer, I have worked diligently to embed literacy strategies in every professional learning experience I create and present. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is very distinctive to the students learning needs. I believe that the educator is a facilitator of the information and must be able to differentiate the instruction to the needs of the learner. I also believe that the educator must provide meaningful instruction and assessments to show the student their growth and gains throughout the teaching. Most importantly, providing a safe and excepting environment is my goal, fostering higher level thinking and progress in students.
As a recent college graduate with my BA in elementary education I am highly motivated to provide learner centered tools to engage and motivate students.
