My comments on tutoring Algebra II : I have done math in high school and college right up to calculus II and Algebra III, and I have been tutoring to math from elementary up to college level.

It can be observed that different students have different learning style. According to the experts, some of these include tactile, visual and auditory. My comments on tutoring Algebra II : More in depth then Algebra I but utilizes the same fundamentals. As long as you have a solid understanding of the fundamentals then you can acheive success in this subject.

I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. Ex. cells make up tissues, tissues make up organs, organs make up organ systems,etc.....! By understanding the make-up of cellular structures and relating that to tissue functions the students can fully understand a subject. This proves true with all subjects. By impowering the student with good base fundamentals, my students find it easier to link concepts together.

Learning Can be Fun!

I have tutored children in group and individual piano lessons. I have tutored them in math and social studies.
