I did masters in Math from Lucknow University India in 1983 and then again another Masters from Canada ( University of Western Ontario ) in Statistics 1n 1989. My comments on tutoring Computer : I have both formal and practical experience in computing. I consider myself an all-around computer whiz, and I can help you set and meet your goals for computer skills.

My career path has winded around quite a bit but always focuses on computer science and math education. My education experience has included tutoring freelance, tutoring on USD's payroll, leading group study sessions, providing supplemental instruction for university coursework, leading workshops at a computer camp, writing workshops for that camp, and ultimately teaching math full time in a high school. The thing I enjoy most about teaching is seeing a concept "click" in a child's head. I feel that this is possible with all children if the right strategy is used to teach them. With my experience in many classrooms, I am a firm believer that all children can learn. However, each child has different needs, and they will learn in different ways. As a teacher, I try to provide instruction in a variety of ways to accommodate to a variety of learners. Many struggling students will succeed if material is taught in a different form. Hands-on and discovery learning are both excellent ways of adapting for students.
