A Little Bit About Me...

At the age of 17, I am considered a Sophomore in college and will most likely be a commissioned Air Force Officer before I am 20 years old. I have aced classes in college English, Math, as well as some sciences. I have three younger siblings and I tend to help them with their homework if they need it. I will not force any student to feel uncomfortable with a subject, if they are having trouble in a particular area, we will skip that area and come back to it.
My teaching style is whatever will make the student comfortable and most effective.

I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan, a private school, with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I've worked in several Child Development Centers and as a nanny with all different ages. I enjoy reading and writing and have experience with editing and grammatical skills as they relate to writing. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my college experiences I was given the opportunity to teach a diverse group of learners. I feel that this has prepared me in my efforts to become a better teacher. In my field based experiences and student teaching I learned about new approaches to teaching several subjects to elementary school students. These subjects include math, science, social studies, and language arts. I have been given the opportunity to teach these subjects on a one-on-one and whole class level. A Little Bit About Me...

Anybody can learn history. By detailing historical concepts in story format, I have the ability to explain eras of history in small concise stories. Once the format of breaking down history has been established, a base of learning is created, and then longer stories can be learned/recited.
I have gained my BA in History, and in the process of doing so I tutored my fellow classmates. Through out my years at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I went out of my way to assist any member of my class with understanding the main ideas of key moments in history. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this, and would like to expand my reach in developing historical understanding.
