I have taught for Utah State University for five years- Business Calculus and College Algebra as an Undergraduate. During that time I also tutored students from a wide variety of subject levels- kindergarten up to discrete mathematics. I also have a minor in Biology and taught Bioethics as an Undergraduate. I believe that education should present as much material to the student as possible, which includes using various textbooks, lecture, and inquiry. After that, it will be up to the student to assess and construct the information given in order to form his/her own opinion about the subject matter. True education and learning is ownership of the subject matter which comes through effort and discipline and a little bit of guidance.
