A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate in Accounting, I was given the tools to be able to teach and comprehend a lot of math skills. I was able to take both Business and Math Courses in college including: Business Management, Calculus, Business Accounting, and Algebra. During the last 4 years I have privately tutored students in math and 98% of them went from being F students to B-A students in both math and business courses.
I love to teach students of all ages. I love the looks on their faces when I help them get something that they never thought they would learn. I am very patient and love to show them a few short cuts on different things that way it makes it easier for them to learn and comprehend. I am a calm and collected individual, and realize how long it took even myself to grasp some of the harder accounting theories. I am a graduate of Marywood University 2010 with a degree in Mathematics/Secondary Education. For two years I participated in an Academic Excellence program at Marywood. My position was a math tutor at a "drop-in" center. It was here that my peers could come at anytime to be tutored in any mathematics subject. I recently completed a semester of student teaching at Valley View High School, where I taught 9th grade algebra and 10th grade geometry, and at Dunmore Middle School, where I taught 8th grade algebra and pre-algebra.
