ESL/French teacher/SAT verbal coach/English tutor for K-12

I have been teaching French to English-speaking people living in France since 1979. I have also been teaching English as a Second Language to French adults in a business environment and to high school/college students as well. I particularly enjoy tutoring reading and spelling to children K-12th Grade. On the rare occasions I have been able to work one-on-one with a student, I am able to approach the material in various ways to best fit that student's needs. Most students in today's society are visual learners. Visual aides usually work the best with these students. When these students don't grasp material, usually it is because they are not able to conceptualize it. However, if you can assist by showing, the student gets a jump-start into comprehension. While attending Columbus State University, I volunteered by tutoring 2nd through 6th graders at the local Columbus Community Center.
