While obtaining my Bachelor of Arts degree in French, I worked as a substitute teacher at Lake Ridge Academy in Cleveland, Ohio, teaching French to children in 5th grade through 12th grade. I worked as a peer tutor at Oberlin College for students helping them to speak French more fluently. I taught a practicum class at the Seventh Day Adventist School in Oberlin and taught at the Hampshire Country School where I also served as a dorm parent. All of this experience has helped me gain more insight into teaching. Currently, I translate court documents from English into French and work at the Fargo Public School system as a substitute paraprofessional.

I grew up in Belgium in a military family and was completely immersed into the French language starting from when I was five years old. My elementary and High school education were all in the French language. I am completely fluent in reading, writing and speaking the French language. I now attend North Dakota State University where I maintain a 3.927 GPA and participate in the ROTC program.
I love working with children and am really excited about teaching them new things. I am very patient with all children and I do my best to make learning as much fun as it can be. I know all children learn differently, therefore I am very flexible in the way I teach as to make every child's experience as beneficial as possible.
