I enjoyed tutoring college students interested in physics. During my two years of experienced, I learned that students use different approaches solving physics problems. With physics, I try to apply the problem to a real world situation in which the student would be able to relate it to in which will help them fully understand what is being asked. I found it effective to help the students understand the concepts rather than the problem they are trying to solve. I love working with children of all ages and abilities and helping them with academics. I don't believe I have a specific teaching style. Hands on, Practice based, through step by step instruction. Visual learning whenever applicable. Geometry, algebra, physics, and some calculus are in my range of teaching. I am very patient as long as the student is trying to learn and cares about the work. Mental support of students is half the battle.

My teaching style is not memorization but rather practice. The best method that I found for teaching math based subjects is step by step work throughs for each problem. By taking the time to step through each math problem, the student learns the theory (Algebra, geometry, etc) as well as the solution. Just solving the problem doesn't teach them as much as understanding HOW to get the solution
