A Little Bit About Me...

Over the past 15 years I have had variety of different teaching experiences. I taught literature as a TA at UC Santa Barbara while studying for my Masters. I have tutored K-12 students in both Math and English. While studying for my undergraduate I assited in running a homeless shelter where I taught many of the children reading, writing, and math. I have a passion for teaching and am a mother myself and understand the true value of educating our youth.
It truly depends on the student and the subject. I try to adapt my teaching style to what the student needs. If one approach is not working, then we can work together to find an approach that does. I believe that it is important for the student to be able to relate to the teacher and it is the teachers job to create that connection.

D. work involved solving a second order partial differential equation which reflects real life utrlasound vibrated water streams capable of producing dropwise precipitation at within 1% reproducibility between drops, this led to an unprecedented ability to solve very sophisticated equations. My earned masters degree in chemical engineering makes it possible for me to tutor equally well in chemistry and mathematics.
