Teaching is my passion. I started to realize this while helping classmates as early as middle school and have carried that drive with me through college and my teaching experiences so far. I have a variety of skills through work experience and like to use a wide range of methods to teach. These methods help me address different learning styles. I have a knack for helping students find better ways to study and learn. Outstanding teachers are the ones who try to come up with creative ideas to interest those who are excelling as well as come up with creative ideas to scaffold and support those who are behind to hold their interest. A Little Bit About Me...

I have excelled in mathematics since early childhood. As such, I pursued a career in engineering and technology. I acquired a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, and did so in 3 years. I have spent a great deal of time over the past 15 years instructing others in mathematics,physics, and the sciences ranging from grade school to college level to fellow colleagues within my various careers.
I am a firm believer that teaching requires the passing of understanding and not just knowledge. Everyone learns in a different way, and as such information must be presented in different ways to get through to differing individuals. If a student can gain understanding in any subject, they will always retain that understanding even if the knowledge has been temporarily misplaced. I am driven to help others achieve understanding in any area that I am trying to teach.
