I have been tutoring ever since elementary school. Since I was the only one that knew how to read, I had to assist in the others' learning of Phonetic sounds. I've also tutored fellow classmates in middle school, high school, and college. If I don't know how to approach a certain topic, I ask for the assistance of some of my former professors because they know I'm trying to help other students.
I try to be really patient because I know some subjects aren't very logical to some students.

Although I graduated with a BS in Justices and an AA in Criminal Justice, I found myself feeling better working with youth rather than adults. I found myself substituting for elementary schools in Bulloch County and I have loved working in the classroom ever since. I am working towards passing the GACE and finding a school system that will hire me on provisional level. I love working with children because they are truly our future. I have learned throughout my subbing experience that children need someone that is going to be real with them. Moreover, someone that can be serious as well as joke with them.

I have always valued education. I can remember comparing grades and discussing what we learned in class as early as 2nd grade. We had a healthy competitive spirit that helped us grown into productive adults. I first began tutoring in an afterschool program in 1995. I have always loved assisting students with learning. I have even considered getting my teaching certification. I currently have my MBA in Business management and feel most comfortable teaching math reading and English to children ages 5-12.
I love all children. I believe all children learn in different ways. it's up to us to determine what workds for them and help them acquire the knowledge they need.
