I have more than three decades of experience managing and working in marketing, PR, communications, the web, and media relations. A Little Bit About Me...

At the University of California-Berkeley, I have pursued my academic interests and personal convictions through a variety of study, work and volunteer experiences. As a student, I have developed strong research, writing and study skills. I have earned two bachelor's degrees in English Literature and Legal Studies and received honor's in Legal Studies after completion of a ninety page research paper. Outside of the classroom, I have had the enjoyable and rewarding experience of mentoring two teen girls for the past two years. A Little Bit About Me...

Because each student, young or old, responds to different learning stimuli (graphical or verbal) at diffrent rates, I always try to get to know my student first. I then try to tailor my tutoring to how they respond best and retain what they've learned. I believe in repetition and using examples that a student can relate to, and then testing the student's understanding of the subject matter.
