I love helping people achieve their goals. I try to find things that the kids enjoy and incorporate those things into my teaching style. I give the students plenty of time to figure out the answer and do not get frustrated with them if it takes them awhile. When the students get a correct answer, I praise them and try to boost their confidence.

In addition, I was a Howard Hughes Medical Research Intern where I gained hands-on experience in a research laboratory that focused on Cardiovascular diseases. As a recent graduate from the University of Alabama, I have possessed a passion for learning in hopes to become a doctor. I have earned a BS in Biology and a MS in Human Environmental Science. After High School, I taught Sunday School at the small church I attended. I was co-teacher with an older gentleman, and the students were 12-15 years old. When my wife and I lived in Seymour (2002-2004), we often helped our nephews with their math homework or class Science projects. I loved explaining the basics, the steps required as we conducted the experiments and documented results in a logical, orderly progression of events.
