Being that I am relatively fresh out of college, I can relate to most students on a personal level. In college, I took many education courses and spent many hours in the classroom so I am current on new teaching styles. I can help average students excel and poor students gain confidence through learning. Many students are afraid of math before even beginning. I have helped many students that math is just math. Most of my life has been dedicated to the piano. I love music and love to teach it. I feel that music is one of the most important attributes a person can attain. I have been playing the piano for 28 years, of which 19 have been spent teaching. I have taught students ranging in ages 4 years old to 75 years old. I love to teach piano. It is one of the best jobs I have ever had. I try to teach my love of music to my students so they can share the same appreciation that I do. I teach sightreading as well as ear training.
