My comments on tutoring Praxis Exam : I scored incredibly well on my Praxis I, and Praxis II Social Studies. I have tutored many students to success on their Praxis I test.

I am a Social Studies teacher in the state of Pennsylvania. I graduated from an NCATE accredited university that has a rigorous education program. In that program, I was required to teach elementary students, middle school students, high school students, college students, and adult classes. I have been teaching for three years and tutoring for five years. I have taught multiple types of learners in multiple subjects with a significant amount of success.
I am a great speaker, and I can easily relate to my students. I push my students thoroughly to reach their objectives, because I do not believe there is anyone who cannot learn a subject. I approach tutoring with the assumption that every student wants to learn more but isn’t always sure how to proceed. Each student brings his or her own perspective to understanding a subject. I try to find where the student is having difficulty and how they process the material i.e. are they a visual learner, auditory, kinesthetic learner etc… It is also important to address any misconceptions they have and to do so early so that they can build a sound base for learning. As a recent graduate from Westminster College, I have earned a BA in History and my PA teaching certificate for 7-12 in Social Studies.
