My comments on tutoring Basic Learning Skills : I have several years of experience with children in kindergarten from a variety of backgrounds including low socioeconomic, no pre k experience, etc. I am a teacher who is excellent at discovering what works for each student. I am a current certified teacher teaching all subjects including reading, writing, math, phonics, science, and social studies in kindergarten.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to work with children of all ages and genders. I have worked with children who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities as well as children of all ages, races, and genders. I attempt to make learning as fun and relevant to the child as possible as every child has varying levels of understanding and concentrations. I am extremely patient and can handle anything. I like to relate learning to childrens' lives (make it about basketball if the boy likes basketball, or about chocolate if the girl likes chocolate).
I was a peer tutor in high school for English and Spanish. I also tutored children in Hebrew at a local temple. In addition, I volunteered as a tutor for underprivileged children in Chicago in all areas: Spelling, Reading, Writing, Math, Language, etc. for grades K-8.
