As a Graduate of CSU Stanislaus I have a lot of experience with working with children. I have run my own music program with elementary students and had a lot of fun doing it. I have also run different camps and different high school groups. i love to help children with anything that they need help with.
I love to work and teach children. It has been my passion for as long as I can remember. With my BM in Music education it will help me to keep my focus on the task at hand. I think that every child should have the opportunity to have music in their lives.

More About This Tutor...

I have taught music in public education for the last 15 years. I have been involved in church music ministry for over 25 years, and currently am the church pianist in Stockton, Ca. I love working with children of all ages. Math is my second love and I almost majored in math instead of music. Math was always easy for me in school. Although I don't enjoy writing, I am very strong in written English and enjoy proofreading papers.
I strive to include various learning styles when working with children. Some students learn best by listening or writing, while others need movement or tactile experiences to help in comprehension. I believe in keeping students engaged at all times, to minimize wasted time. Every child has potential. A teacher just has to know how to reach each child, and that happens when the students builds trust with the teacher.
