I have over 25 years experience as a hospital (CFO) Chief Financial Officer. My educational experience includes: teaching high school, teaching college and tutoring elementary and junior high school. I hold a PhD in Financial Management. I have taught English, math, Spanish, accounting, money and banking, investments, human resource management. Because of my work with persons who have physical and mental problems, I have learned to be patient and sharpen my listening skills. This way I am also able to recognize when someone is frustrated or exhausted and use these signs to better cope with any behavioral problems that may arise. As an undergrad, I excelled in the arts, history and social science courses. However, I lacked interest in math (I didn't get it) and failed college algebra two times! My goal was to graduate college and I decided to seek help. I came across the tutoring center on campus and found a tutor that changed my perception about math!
