I understand how important it is have a good teacher when it comes to biology and the sciences. It takes time, patience, and deep understanding of the material to effectively learn it. On my way to earning my Bachelor’s degree and now working on my Masters, I have developed techniques that have worked for me and other students that I have taught in the last few years. I received my BA from Azusa Pacific University in 1994. In 1995, I worked full-time as a teacher while going to school at night and received my Multiple Subject Credential. I have been teaching in the public schools since 1994. I have taught 7th and 8th grade math, science, US History, and ESL. I have also taught Seriously Emotionally Disturbed children, 1st grade, 6th grade, and Kindergarten. I have a passion for teaching students to read because my own child has dyslexia.
