In May of 2010, I successfully completed my fourth year of teaching. Each year has been different. The children of today learn in many different ways. There has been a change in learning styles over the course of time. Some children may learn through hands on activities and modeling, while others learn through lecture. Teaching is a profession that is not well recognized, however my reason for teaching lays within my family values. I believe that the youth is the future. This core belief of mines allow me to dedicate myself to understanding how children learn and ultimately how I can best serve the children.

I love helping people. I feel that a student can always teach a student better than a teacher. Their teaching style is a lot forgiving and the student is less intimidated knowing that someone else has been where he/she is currently. It also takes a great deal of patience to teach someone something and a forgiving nature. I excel at both of those.
