As a high school student, I excelled at my schoolwork. I was retained as a tutor for middle school students in math and science subjects. When I entered college, my major in engineering has required that I take a lot of upper level math and science courses. These rigorous courses have strengthened my math and science skills. I received a bachelors degree from The University of Memphis in integrative studies in the fall of 2009. Upon graduation, I was required to complete two semesters of student teaching. Also, during my four years of college, I tutored three different students, one in reading and the other two in English.
