A Little Bit About Me...

As an mathematics tutor I have had the pleasure of tutoring my college peers. I have worked with Hawks Learning System Program, which is an College Algebra Software thats is used by the mathematics professors at Alcorn State University. Within completing my degree I have taken higher level mathematics courses such as Calculus I, II, and III, as well as Abstract Algebra, Foundations of Mathematics, History of Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Probability, Teaching Secondary Mathematics, Number Theory, Linear Algebra, and Statistics I just to name a few. As a Delta State University alum, it does my heart joy to be able to give back to my community. While at Delta State, I earned a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and minored in Nutrition. I went on to work as an Abstinence Coordinator for a non-profit organization, Youth Opportunities Unlimited, Incorporated. I taught children and teens various awareness topics. After a year of working with Y.O.U., I was offered a teaching position at the Quitman County Elementary School. I have been there for the past three years.
