As a graduate of Ole Miss in Exercise Science I have taken extensive Biology and Anatomy/Physiology courses in which I have received exemplary remarks. I will receive my BS in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology in May of this year. I have helped tutor the athletes at Ole Miss in both Biology and Kinesiology courses as well taught an Outdoor Leadership Class on the University Level. I'm an assertive motivator. Learning should not be repulsive, children love to learn by examples that they can relate to. I believe children learn by experiences and examples. Making it relevant and interesting makes them to want to learn. They begin to understand the purpose for learning the material. Children have different learning styles and every child doesn't learn at the same rate. Teachers must realize this when planning lessons. Students need to know that to have the basics such as a home, a car and food for their family, they need an education. Kids don't think about the future and how their decisions will determine the rest of their lives. By helping them to set goals for themselves, they will strive to do their best and begin to realize that they can learn.
