Math and Business Tutor

I have completed all College level Math classes for an Electical Engineering degree. Math is my area of expertise. I also have several other areas that I have tutored and been able to help students (see my course list). My experience includes 25 years of real world experience in the engineering and business fields which when balanced with my book based knowledge has allowed me to improve the tutoring experience by providing concrete, real world examples within several study areas.

Math to me is like a puzzle... if you can imagine the pieces in your mind, fitting them together in practice is so much easier. I am extremely patient and easy going, even in coaching, most kids gravitated to me because I could speak to them on their level. You have to explain it in a way that kids can understand. Positive feedback is very critical to let them know they are going down the right path.
I have lived in South Jersey all of my life. I received my degree in Accounting from Stockton and have spent most of my career in finance working my way up to Controller for several businesses. When I was laid off, I had always wanted to try teaching and I loved it.
