A Little Bit About Me...

I teach very young beginners (under 5) via the Suzuki Violin Method. Other students are taught utilizing traditional teaching approaches, method books ranging from A Tune a Day to study books by Hrimaly, Sevcik, Shraidieck and more. They learn to incorporate their technical skills which are honed by learning scales, positions, and studies in their repertoire such as short pieces of music and student and professional concertos for the Violin.
I have taught violin lessons to students of all ages and levels for 20 + years. Letters of reference are available upon request. I am also a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and have been critically acclaimed as a Violin Solo Recitalist in New York State. Since the third grade, I have been striving to always do my best in music. I kept improving and eventually was able to lead myself to several orchestras state wide and across the coast. After a lot of hard work, I made my way to Carnegie Hall with the New York Youth Symphony. I decided on enrolling to the Ithaca College school of music, studying under Nicholas Walker. Francois Rabbath, a world-renowned double bass musician, demonstrated his techniques as well as taught me for a week. During the last three years I have conducted a full string orchestra in a movement of Brahms Fourth Symphony as well as I have volunteered at my High School and teach my knowledge to prospective string music majors and other music students.

Have a BS degree in Economics from Fordham University. Twenty years of experience writing real estate appraisal reports have improved my writing abilities greatly.
