I have worked quite a lot with elementary school children, whether it be in or outside of work. I have done independent tutor work, mainly in the fields of Art and Language Arts. I began as an intern and held various writing and editing jobs throughout my tenure, ultimately departing as editor in chief. My writing has been recognized on the national and statewide level by the American Collegiate Press and the Michigan Press Association. I recently graduated with a B.A. in journalism. My experience as a newspaper editor helped me to develop a collaborative teaching style.
