Currently I'm a high school student at Lincoln Charter school in Denver. Ever since I started High school I've taken all honors classes, and graduated those classes with 90's and above. Right now I'm currently taking college writing class 111 and 112 in the 11th Grade. I take AP U.S. History. I enjoy reading and writing in my free time. Language, Grammar, Punctuation and Writing comes very naturally to me. Currently in my College writing class I have a 98%.
I can accommodate to what is best for your learning needs, I do not like tutoring online. Face to face is better; I like to know who I'm teaching on a personal level in order to make them comfortable when learning. Learning should be a fun process, not stressful!

Turning your weakness into your strength

I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, from Geometry through Calculus III, from general computer knowledge through utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Access. I have tutored people ranging from my peers to people three times my age, to as young as third graders. My motto has evolved into "Helping those who feel they can not be helped"
I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.

When tutoring students I try to take a multidimensional approach. I attempt to show the child, explain it in my own words, have the student explain it in his/her own words, and then have them apply and practice so that the material really sticks.
Throughout high school and college I helped numerous classmates develop efficient ways of studying as well as providing assistance to learning and understanding the given material. During high school I mainly tutored my neighbor's young children in elementary subjects. In college I helped fellow classmates in my major and minor. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored before, I am currently tutoring kids at my high school everyday in the subject in which they need help in. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I graduated with a BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.

I served as a writing tutor to my peers while I was in college. I did this for three years and it seemed to help the students a great deal. This position was accompanied by training provided by one of my professors at Montreat College. The training lasted a full semester. I have also been tutoring a 14 year-old boy in reading comprehension for the past year. He has greatly improved since we started last summer in the speed of his reading, interest in what he is reading, and better comprehension as a whole.

Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the subject, so I'd like to think I know something about it by now.

I try to approach client's problems on a case by case nature: they have a particularly hard to write paper or a class that just isn't working for them, and I will try to work closely with them to find solutions.
