I am extremely friendly and love helping students learn my passion, accounting. I have experience in helping students with disabilities, and currently tutor a student with a disability. I really love the interaction I have with students, and my track record shows I know what I am doing - I have never had a student who did not increase their GPA after coming to me multiple times. I think educators must take into account the different ways in which students learn. For instance, I've noticed that math students may have difficulty adding and subtracting fractions, but have no trouble whatsoever when I ask about dimes and quarters. If an instructor can build a bridge between new material and material the student has already mastered, the student's retention can significantly improve. By getting to know the interests and knowledge of each, I hope to discover bridges that will make learning an exciting and enjoyable process.
