I tutored a fellow student in Finite Mathematics during college for one semester. I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, working hard to finish my degree in three years. I recently took online classes in order to achieve my Masters of Science in Education. I've worked as an addiction tech, juvenile court officer, volunteered at Girls, Inc., an obituary writer, and a freelance writer. In each of those positions, at many a time, I had to assist someone with writing. My mom was a K-8 grade teacher, as were all of my aunts, so it runs in the family. All of them were English Majors. I just chose to write as a career instead of teach. But throughout my different job experiences, I've had to assist others with their writing needs. It can be as simple as telling them what they need for something, as in an obituary, to as detailed as helping them build a business plan.
