What is appropriate for the student is my style. If the student needs much one on one to learn, that's okay. His or her peaked interest in learning and the understanding of its necessity is my key goal. I have three very different children and all of have different styles of learning. My comments on tutoring Sociology : I have a master's in social studies.I have taken sociology courses.

My style is student centered. I always try to provide a positive atmosphere for learning. My jokes were a technique to help accomplish that goal. As a GED teacher I always began with a pretest and documented student progress to correct any deficiencies. I believe in positive reinforcement and helping students achieve their goals which gives us both a sense of accomplishment.
I am an honors graduate of U.S.F. with forty years of teaching experience. In addition to my B.A. and M.A. degrees, I completed all cousework for the ED.D.
