I have enjoyed tutoring math students who are advanced learners and students who are beginning their study of college-level math. No matter their capability, each student's success is very important to me. I have often met with students outside of tutoring sessions to explain a problem, and had e-mail conversations with several students to ensure they're understanding material. In tutoring sessions, I like making sure each student is actively participating in solving the problem, as opposed to simply giving them the right answer. I have always been very mathematical, even though I did little to cultivate it. One of my favorite classes in college was a statistics course I took, and the other was a logic class.
